AN ACT CONCERNING THE DEPLOYMENT OF SOLAR ENERGY SOURCES IN THE STATE.

To (1) set a goal of five hundred megawatts of solar photovoltaic electricity generation in the state not later than the year 2027, (2) remove the capacity limit on the Non-residential Renewable Energy Solutions Program, (3) extend the duration of the Shared Clean Energy Facility Program, (4) impose a uniform capacity tax for grid-scale solar photovoltaic installations, (5) streamline the process by which solar photovoltaic facilities are connected to the grid, and (6) create a solar advancement commission for the purpose of making policy recommendations concerning solar deployment in the state.
